Moodle Migration
4,000 learners, zero outages
A TVET college ends downtime and speeds up its platform with managed Moodle hosting.
Illustrative sample — replace with the real client story and figures.
The challenge
The college was running a self-managed Moodle instance that had grown to around 4,000 active learners. Frequent outages during peak assessment periods, slow page loads and a backlog of overdue updates were undermining trust in online learning — and pulling scarce IT staff away from teaching priorities.
What we did
We migrated the platform to our managed Moodle hosting with no loss of content, users or course data. We tuned the environment for the college's real usage patterns, put automated backups and 24/7 monitoring in place, and took over core, plugin and security updates. A branded theme refresh made the platform feel like the college's own.
The result
Outages during assessment periods became a thing of the past, pages loaded noticeably faster, and the IT team was freed from routine maintenance. Online learning became something staff and students could rely on.
Our Moodle installation is finally working the way we envisioned it to, and outages are a thing of the past.
